Outfits of the Week

 Real talk: it has been 5 years since the last outfit post on my blog. My life has changed so much since then - wedding, pregnancy, new home, career advancements, marriage & motherhood, a pandemic...all the things. As a result, my blog has taken a back seat with the exception of a post here and there, but I'm finding a good groove lately and ready to tap back into my creative space on a more regular basis.

I've loved fashion my entire life, and have stayed true to my personal style as it has evolved. Case in point: at 3 years old I absolutely refused to dance in my ballet recital because the costume was a bright yellow tutu. Years later, I quit Girl Scouts because the Brownies uniform was a light blue collared shirt and long brown shorts - apparently not into that color combo at the time haha!

Fast forward to now, I currently buy and design women's apparel for a living (truly my dream job!). Choosing my outfit each morning brings me joy and I feel more confident when I'm wearing something that reflects my style and mood. I don't blindly follow trends, but rather pick and choose what fits with my aesthetic and flatters my body. 

I get so much enjoyment in sharing my looks & new finds, styling tips, and how I remix my favorite pieces to maximize my wardrobe - so I'm starting a new series {Outfits of the Week} which will feature a quick breakdown of what I wore to work M-F. I will link as much as possible for you to shop directly, but some items I've had for years and are no longer available. My hope is that these posts inspire you to play with fashion and hone in on your own personal style.
