A co-worker's birthday was on Tuesday so I made these Banana Bread Muffins for a breakfast celebration.

The recipe calls for a delicious brown sugar and cinnamon mixture to sprinkle on top before popping them in the oven, 

which is to die for. I just couldn't resist waiting until work the next morning, so I did a little taste test while the muffins were still warm. These are amazing - worth every calorie! The Buying Department loved them too! Check out the recipe here. 

Rose Bowl Flea Market

Yesterday I went to the Rose Bowl Flea Market in Pasadena. 

The flea market has been on my list of things to do since I moved to LA and it did not disappoint! 

Although it was hot & humid, I still had so much fun walking around and seeing all the treasures at the 2500+ booths. 

I wasn't looking for anything in particular, but I spotted a vintage Coach bag that I knew would be coming home with me the second I saw it! If you're ever in the LA area on the second Sunday of the month, definitely stop by the flea market!

Is it fall yet? I am anxiously awaiting cooler weather filled with fabulous fall fashion. 

A great way to transition your summer wardrobe into fall is by throwing on a pair of ankle boots. 

These have become my go-to shoe the past week, as they add the perfect edge to a flirty printed dress or cut-offs. 

In a few months when the temps drop, I'll pair my ankle boots with leggings and oversized cozy cardigans.

{DIY} Transform Curling Iron into Wand

I never mastered curling my hair by using the clamp on a curling iron. I'm just not coordinated enough. 

Instead, I simply wrap a section of hair, away from my face, around the barrel without using the clamp. 

I decided to turn my curling iron into a wand by removing the clamp and the spring all together.

All you need to transform your curling iron into a wand is a screw driver and about 1 minute of your time.

P.S. I have a Conair 1-1/4 inch curling iron, which is the perfect size to create loose waves.
